The Sunrise_Studios Conservatory is a publicly recognized conservatory for acting, dance and singing with a focus on musicals, founded by Alexandra Zehetner - board member of the Austrian Dance Council and of the international dance competition VIBE Vienna International Ballet Experience. Further more Alexandra is also European manager of international artists, like an American choreographer and an Austrian bass baritone.

Professional stage training lasts an average of four years ( = standard period of study/minimum period of study ) and ends with a state or internationally recognized diploma. All disciplines combined, an average of 42 to 45 lessons per week are taught. The teaching times can be flexibly agreed between students and lecturers.
With regard to the training offered, emphasis is placed on particularly high, practical and contemporary training standards. The areas of singing, acting and dance are weighted as equally as possible so that after successful completion you will have a wide range of career opportunities and, as a "certified stage performer", you will be able to work in all areas of the performing arts. Our goal is to produce artists of international caliber.
Individual support in all three areas or all subjects (individual classification using a flexible performance level system ) enables optimal, rapid learning progress.

The training includes, among other things , solo singing, voice training, accompaniment, musical repertoire, music drama/staging, music theory, choir, solfeggio, piano, acting, speaking techniques, improvisation/theatre sports, ballet, dance conditioning, jazz, musical jazz, contemporary, step dance, singing & dance , movement theory/physical work, etc. With this variety of teaching subjects, our students are optimally prepared for various exams, stage projects and performances as well as for a career as an artist.

Our Method for Success

Our state-recognized diploma stage training with public law (4-section professional training) in acting, dance, singing or musicals. What is special about the Sunrise Studios conservatory is the diversity and internationality, but above all the special training methods.
The teaching team consists of active artists and acting, singing and dance teachers, all of whom bring a lot of stage, film and TV experience as well as extensive domestic and foreign teaching experience. Based on this, the training takes place according to a special system based on American success methods. Individual support in all three areas (flexible performance level system) enables optimal, rapid learning progress.
The training includes, among others, the following subjects: solo singing, voice training, accompaniment, musical repertoire, music drama/staging, music theory, choir, solfeggio, piano, acting, speech techniques, improv/theatre sports, ballet, dance condition, jazz, contemporary, step dance, singing & dance, Movement theory/body work etc. With this variety of teaching subjects, our students are optimally prepared for various exams, stage projects or performances as well as for a career as an artist.

All disciplines combined, an average of 42 to 45 lessons per week are taught. The teaching times can be flexibly agreed with the respective lecturers, although the time frame, which results from the main artistic activity of our lecturers, is daily Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to around 3:30 p.m. (sometimes up to 5 p.m.), so that part-time jobs are possible or easy to plan for our students. Optimally suitable rooms are available at 1070 Vienna, Neubaugasse 38 (in the inner courtyard) or, if necessary, singing, piano, Pilates studios, rehearsal rooms or theaters can also be used for lessons. In this regard, individual agreements can be made with the respective lecturers.
After solid basic training in acting, dance and singing, specializations in individual areas are possible in the final phase of the course.
